Research Area:Deep Excavation and Tunnel; Dewatering and Artificial Recharge

Research Experience:
I got PhD in Geotechnical Engineering from Tianjin University (Tianjin, P. R. China). Now, I lead five research projects as a principal investigator to develop the key technologies for the safety of deep excavation, including the prediction of dewatering-induced retaining wall and surrounding ground deformations and the countermeasures. I have published more than 30 research papers in international journals (e.g., Journal of Hydrology, Computers and Geotechnics, Natural Hazards) and domestic journals (e.g., Chinese Journal of Geotechnical Engineering, Rock and Soil Mechanics). I have also obtained about 10 granted patents. I am now reviewing papers from Journal of Hydrology, Computers and Geotechnics, Natural Hazards, Mathematical Problems in Engineering, Rock and Soil Mechanics, Chinese Journal of Underground Space and Engineering and others.
